Seb, would you share an extract from your work day?
Absolutely! This week has been a blend of designing a new network solution for a manufacturing client, reviewing and proposing security solution upgrades for several others, and working closely with the project implementation engineers to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and to our clients’ satisfaction.
What do you enjoy about your work?
I’ve always enjoyed the blend of challenging technical design, combined with some of the great collaborative solutions that we come up with here at b2b.
I think the reason I’ve stayed here so long (it’ll be 13 years in March!) is that everyone here at b2b really gets a kick from knowing we’ve done the best by our clients. A lot of companies might say that they care, when really you might just be a number to them – but we’re proud of the relationships we forge with our clients. We’re working harder than ever to give our customers the best experience, because we can’t succeed without our clients succeeding also, and it feels good when you get it right!
Share with us something about you…
Well, something that most people won’t know is that I pretty much have to dress up for Halloween whether I like it or not! My wife’s birthday is on Halloween, and she always makes loads of effort. So, I was dressed up as Gomez Adams last year, and anything from Sweeney Todd to Phantom of the Opera in the past! No spoilers on this year though!
