Yep, we have our own hashtag and whilst that sounds “big corporate machine in the IT world”, the philosophy behind the meaning is on the contrary.

Our marketing materials, website and social media often proclaim this hashtag, but what does it mean and why is it so important to us?

Pull up a pew IT enthusiast or family member of an employee (you can only be one of the two, you’ve read past the first paragraph). The world of IT is highly competitive and is often a sales driven environment. Whilst this can be good for a business in the short-term, it can make for some disgruntled clients who may not receive the best advice or support once they’ve signed the dreaded long-term contract, which, by the way, we don’t administer. One of the reasons we don’t employ sales people is because we want our IT team to understand your business and offer recommendations only when they (the experts in the field) deem it necessary.  

Not many IT businesses will deal with your IT query in real time. Basically, we don’t like call logging, it causes issues for us and major ones for you. Your IT issue/query is as important as the next and we want all our customers’ IT queries to be dealt with as quickly as possible.

We try and make IT fun. No really, you can make IT fun, a little bit. Other than trying to run each other over at go-karting, team building days, our IT team bounce off one another. Amongst sharing their strange eating habits and run-ins with trees (ask Joe, it’s true), they problem solve with one another and actually enjoy speaking with other humans. It all makes for a happy and positively charged office environment.

 

To summarise

If you skip straight to this point, A* for initiative:

1 - We recommend when necessary, we don’t sell.

2 – We don’t have call logging, we resolve your query as soon as possible.

3 – We inject fun into our days. But only a little bit, because let’s face it, it’s still IT.
